Downtime

Gaming isn't only about maximizing your playtime, sometimes it's about know when you're not in the mood to kill bad guys. For those times, its good to have a back-up plan; a good book, a movie you've been wanting to watch, or if you're near the internet, some internet television. From Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog to The Guild there is plenty of well-known good quality internet t.v.. Here are a few good lesser known ones:

Electric City
Starring Tom Hanks, this is a story about what happens when it all ends, and how we come back from it. One part cautionary tale, one part dark humor, one part crazy old ladies; Electric City is interesting enough to keep watching.

Daybreak 2012
Continuing the wave of the rebirth of interest in all things Nikola Tesla, Daybreak is a simple but fun look at what is possible. It's short, its science fiction-lite, but its good enough to watch.

The Beauty Inside Film
The lovechild of Drake Doremus starring Topher Grace and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, The Beauty Inside is about a man who changes faces every time he goes to sleep. The best of the three, it's not to be missed.

These are only a small fraction of what you can watch on internet television, decade old shows like BMW The Hire staring Clive Owen are a little more well known but the shows are out there. Next time you have a spot of time, look one up; you might be pleasantly surprised.
